Bodil Fagerheim, Norway
Bodil Fagerheim (b. 1959) had her formative studies with Stavanger Cathedral organist Lars Mæland. She then went on to study with Bjørn Boysen at the Norwegian Academy of Music, graduating in 1980. A church musician since the age of 12, she has also worked as a geriatric nurse and a journalist. Since 1990 she resides in Klepp together with her husband Einar and their children Jarle (b. 1989) and Tore (b. 1991). For her church musical efforts in the local society she received the Klepp Culture Award in 1996.
