Gregory Ceurvorst, United States
Gregory Ceurvorst 25, holds Bachelor's and Master's of Music degrees from Northern Illinois University (2003), and Northwestern University (2004) respectively. In 2003, was made a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, the National Music Honors Society. His teachers have included Douglas Cleveland, RIchard Hoskins, Willie Pickens, William Perry Johnson, and Hannah VoigtGregory is the Director of Music at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Mount Prospect, where he directs and accompanies various choirs and ensembles, plays the organ and piano, and does planning and administrative work. He is an active recitalist, and in addition to his church work, Gregory maintains a full teaching schedule at his studio in Mount Prospect. Ceurvorst is a member of the American Guild of Organists, Organ Historical Society, and the Music Teacher's National Association.
