Jon Kristian Fjellestad, Norway
Jon Kristian Fjellestad comes from Hamar, Norway. He is presently a student at the Church Music Education School in Trondheim, Norway, studying the organ with Oddbjorn Sabo, Titular Organist of Nidaros Cathedral. He frequently plays the historic II/30 1741 Wagner and famous 1930 IV/107 Steinmeyer Cathedral Organs. He is a regular contributor to Organs and Organists Online, and serves as a Director of JFFJ, a Music Publishing partnership along with fellow O&OO contributor Jarle Fagerheim. Jon Kristian has also composed a Toccata, which can be heard on O&OO played on the organ of Gloucester Cathedral by International Recitalist David M Patrick. His improvisations on the organs of Hamar Cathedral and Nidaros Catheral can be heard on the site.
