Contributing Organists
Johan Hermans, Belgium
Internationally known Belgian recitalist and recording artist Johan Hermans teaches Organ Performance and Chamber Music at the Conservatory of Music of Hasselt, Belgium, and is organist of the well-preserved Cavaillé-Coll organ at the Sacred Heart Church in the same city. He also coordinates several series of organ recitals in his area and is the Artistic Director of an International Organ Festival which is supported by the provincial and national authorities. Mr. Hermans holds a Masters Degree from the Lemmens Institute in Louvain, Belgium, and completed his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège where he obtained the prestigious Performer's Diploma.
