Federico Piglione began his musical study with the composer Azio Corghi. Later he studied at the conservatories of Milan and Turin and at the Ars Organi Academy of Turin. At the same time, he received the laurea degree in electrotechnical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Even though he is not a full-time professional musician, he holds recitals and conferences to popularize organ music and is consulted as an expert for organ restorations. He is currently an associate professor of electrical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin and organist of the church of San Vincenzo Martire, Nole, where he has designed the restoration of the large symphonic organ.
